On March 13th, 2013, Jaimie was selected to be the Grand Marshal of the 2013 "Go The Distance Walk" hosted by the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital. Dr. Michael Tobias, co-chief of pediatric neurosurgery presented Jaimie with her Grand Marshal sash, specially-tailored in her favorite color pink, during a special ceremony in front of all of Jaimie's closest friends. The honor brought Jaimie's mother to tears, and Jaimie was beyond excited to be a superstar. The walk was hosted on April 21st, as a part of the hospital's fundraising efforts, as well as a Family Fun Day to bring together patients, families, doctors, and the community. It is an amazing experience, one I can only hope to be a part of in the near future.

First, you are super tech savvy adding in links and videos to click. I would not be able to do that. Plus, by adding a link it saves room in the post rather than inserting a giant video. Every week your pictures are great that showcases the event you're writing about. That must have been such a big deal for Jamie to have the honor of being the Grand Marshal.

Very cute idea to do a "#TBT" post since it's so popular. Its interesting to learn about things that have happened to Jamie even before your blog was created. I agree with Leah, the use of links is nicely incorporated! I also like how you "talk" to your readers and put a little teaser at the end of the post. Nice work!!
